Paper Dolls Challenge #35

So, is anyone feeling scrappy? Not like scrapbooking, but scrappy as in USE THOSE SCRAPS!

My challenge for you this go around is to dig in to your scraps and make a card using ONLY scraps. You are allowed to cut one piece of paper, if necessary, for your card base, but other than that, no cutting into a new piece of paper. I made a few cards, but due to 'technical difficulties' I was only able to get a picture of this beauty that I'm saving for my daughter's 8th birthday in June. I'm absolutely thrilled with how it came out!

All supplies are PTI unless noted
Stamps: Cupcake Collection, Mat Stack 4 Collection, Polka Dot Basics II
Paper: Sweet Blush, Stampers Select, Doodlebug Lily White Sugar Coated Cardstock
Ink: Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate
Accessories: Mat Stack 4 Die, Cupcake Collection Dies, Edgers #1 Die, Dimensionals, Bling (from clearance at Office Max)

Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge #34

Hello Everyone!

I find myself so overwhelmed with gratitude lately. For my family's health and safety and for dear friends near and far in light of recent events in our world and right here at home on the Papertrey message board. A dear member of our team here suffered a tremendous loss recently and I was blown away by the love and support that were rallied immediately by the "Dolls", as I affectionately call our blog group, and those on the PTI Message Board. It is for this that I am truly think we can develop such wonderful friendships with people we have never physically met. It is truly awesome! PTI has brought together a wonderful group of women and Ted. I am proud and grateful to know all of you!

So, this Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge is all about gratitude. I challenge all of you to make a card, scrapbook page or other project about GRATITUDE. Keep it simple (if you can) and use a background stamp (if you have one...or make one with other stamps from PTI). That's it...gratitude, simple, background stamp. Here is my project below and I look forward to seeing all of your amazing projects!

Remember to join in the challenge and post your project using the InLinkz tools below! For more information about this card feel free to visit my blog Trade Fish Designs.

Have a wonderful day!

Papertrey Ink Paper Dolls Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Welcome to the Paper Dolls' First Blog Hop!  We are so glad you are joining us today and hope that you will hop along with us as we get to know each other better.  Perhaps you can even play along with our challenge!

The theme for this blog hop is:

We decided to pay tribute to the reason why we are all here in the first place -  a love for all things Papertrey Ink. Each creation you see along the hop this week will have something that starts with a P, something that starts with a T and something that starts with an I on it.

In addition to viewing wonderful and varied creations, you will be able to read a little bit more about each member of this blog group and get to know all the girls better.

Just for hopping along and leaving comments on our Blog Hop posts, we are offering up a prize!  One randomly selected winner from all the comments left on the Dolls' posts will receive the wonderful stamp set, "Made of Snow," pictured below.

Several of our members post daily, so if you have to take a recess during your hopping, make sure you scroll through the Dolls' blogs for the post with the Blog Hop banner pictured above.  That's the post on which you should leave a comment.

We'd love for you to play along with us and link up your creations on the InLinkz tool at the bottom of this post! Linking up one of your creations following our theme will get you in a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate to PTI!

All comments and projects should be in by midnight on Sunday, March 13th.  We'll randomly select the winner for both prizes on Monday, March 14th and announce it here on the Dolls' Blog!

Below is a list of the Papertrey Ink Paper Dolls and their blogs.  Grab something to drink, something to snack on and enjoy.  We are glad you are here.

Can you believe that starting from February until June, I know 11 people who have either just given birth or are expecting?! It IS contagious! Special shout out to Anika who's expecting twinsies! Anyhoo, on to the challenge.

The challenge is to create not one, but two cards! Using the same/similiar layout, create a baby boy card and a baby girl card! =) And, I'm putting it out there right now, since I have about 8 more cards to make, I'm gonna CASE y'all, so I hope you play along!
