Paper Dolls - Challenge # 2

Hi all! It's Meg (megspaulding) here with our second Paper Dolls challenge! Thank you Laurie Beth for our first challenge which was super fab and thank you to all who participated! I have been planning this next challenge for a while. The sketch is one of my faves! It comes from the Go To Sketches magazine by PaperCrafts. The sketch was designed by Betsy Veldman (ahh, my hero) on page 109. Here it is:

And here is my take:

Lots of October Afternoon Fly a Kite paper collection and of course tissue paper flowers and lots of bling!

Hope you enjoyed this weeks sketch and get to play along with us! Later peeps!

Welcome to Paper Dolls Challenge #1!

Hi All, it's Laurie (Laurie Beth) here with the Paper Dolls first challenge!  The Dolls are so excited to get started this week with our new blog and weekly challenges!   We will be hosting a random challenge on Thursday of each week!

First off, I just want to let you know that we would LOVE to see your takes on this sketch!  Please feel free to jump in here and play along!  It's open to anyone!  We would love to see your PTI stamps but any stamps are welcome!   Just link your creation at the end of the post!

I volunteered to get a jump start this week, so here we are!  I picked a sketch for our first challenge and here it is....

Its very similar to a card I have done in the past and thought it would be a good simple sketch to get us all started!  So, here is my take on this weeks sketch...

Something as simple as an oval can really give a card a great focal point!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Can't wait to see everyone's take on the sketch!  Have a great day!

Laurie
