Paper Dolls Challenge #49: Celebrate Generosity

Hello Paper Dolls and friends of the Dolls!

Joyce here, from Cards-by-the-Sea, and it's my turn to host our challenge this month.

I thought it would be fun to celebrate the generosity of our wonderful crafting community.   One thing that has struck me over the almost 2 years I have been stamping is how kind, giving and generous we crafters are.  I have received numerous RAK's as well as gifts.  From stamp sets to dies, from card kits to die cuts from dies I don't have, I've got a huge stash of goodies to work with because of the kindness of others.

The challenge this month:

Make a project using something(s) you have received from another crafter.

I have two projects to share today.  It was great fun digging through my stash, pulling out things I have received as gifts.

The beautiful tulips on this card were cut and sent to me my my dear friend Kim of Cupcakes, Cards and Kim.  I still have a big bag of them, for another day.  The doily on this card comes either from Cathy of The Empty Nest Crafter or Tracey of In My Creative Opinion--I have resisted buying this expensive Parisian lace doily die, and they both have sent me so many die cuts, that I probably will never need to buy the die.

Cathy also sent me a stack of card stock impressed with the Chicken Wire Impression Plate, which she knew I had not bought.  Thanks to her, I was able to make this cow-themed birthday card, using my new On the Farm set.

Here is a little peek at the back of the cards.  I always like to use a 'handmade by' type of stamp and my initials.  When I am a rich and famous card maker--a signed original will be worth a fortune.  My friend Monica of Simply Sunshine sent me this stamp, when she heard that I collect 'handmade by' stamps.

That's it for now.  Please see my blog for a full supply list for these cards.  And, please join in the fun this month.  Post a card using something you have received from another crafter, and tell us all about it.
